I write songs too.

I started writing when I was 12 as a way to say things I was otherwise too shy to bring up and as a way to sift through my feelings in a tangible way. It has been a strange, beautiful, treacherous experience as a young woman in the music industry over the past ten years, but it’s a journey I’m very grateful for.

When I was 18, I released a self-written, recorded, and produced EP called When it Comes to You, which is available on Spotify and Apple Music. Before that, I wrote countless songs with other writers and artists, worked with industry professionals in Los Angeles, and performed in coffee shops, farmers markets, and art festivals in Seattle.

Since then, I have consciously released less and written more. As of now, my passion lies more deeply in the creation of the music rather than the performance, so I’ve worked over the past few years to strengthen that muscle.

I’ve been having a lot of fun posting clips of songs I write on TikTok recently. :)
